SESSION SYNOPSIS
The special session aims at discussing the latest achievements in optical periodic nanustructures, metastructures, metasurfaces, and photonic crystals, for sensing with a specific focus on technologies and applications, highlighting the open research challenges and the most promising paths of improvement.
